Hello! Welcome to my Honors Learning Portfolio! Over my five years at the University of Cincinnati I'll be posting updates on everything I'm doing with the University Honors Program, my involvement with clubs and the community, my Co-op experiences, my Years-in-Review and anything else that happens while I'm in the Queen City. Who?
My name is Jonathan Raj, I was born and raised in Dubai, moved to the US in 2017 and haven’t settled down since. After finishing up an Associate's of Science in Houston, I moved to Cincinnati in 2019 to study Biomedical Engineering at UC and am currently somewhere on the scale between Freshman and Senior. Being a transfer student is confusing sometimes.

I joined the University Honors Program in the Spring of 2020 to explore my interests in research, food, programming, music, leadership, linguistics, travel, and anything else I pick up along the way. As a life-long learner, my interests are varied, but I’ve found that there is no greater joy than finding interesting connections in the most unlikely of places.

As a first-generation college student, I’ve always valued learning and an interdisciplinary education above all else. This portfolio will track my growth and progress in pursuit of that goal here at the University of Cincinnati.
